Our NOUVAglo Light treatment offers noticeable results with very little to no downtime. Our NOUVAglo Mod will give results quicker and it may require a couple days of downtime. What to Expect During Your NOUVADerm Treatment
During your NOUVADerm treatment, you may feel a mild warming sensation as the laser works, it feels like a sparkler on your skin. For our NOUVAGlo Light treatment, numbing is recommended and not required. For the more intense deeper acting NOUVAGlo Mod, a numbing cream is applied to ensure comfort. The actual application of the laser is quick, less than 10 minutes. A 30 minute visit gives us all of the time we need to prepare you and send you on your way with with a laser glow and RE|PAIR serum to support your skin regeneration. As after your laser treatment, you may experience some redness or mild swelling, similar to a sunburn, but these effects typically subside within a few hours to days. More intensive treatments may result in peeling or flaking as your skin heals and renews itself. You will be provided you with specific postreatment care instructions to ensure optimal healing and results.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
While some patients see results after just one treatment, most will benefit from a series of 1 to 4 treatments, spaced about 4 weeks apart. The number of treatments depends on your skin condition and the goals you want to achieve.
